In addition, our practice focuses on arresting vessels in Turkish Jurisdiction on behalf of clients for security for a maritime claim made or to satisfy a judgment.

The firm handles also all forms of carriage contracts and charterparties, as well as insurance issues which may affect the shipping industry and clients' liability.

D&D advises clients in maritime transactions, litigation, vessel sale and purchase agreements, charter parties, terminal agreements, tonnage contracts, bills of lading, crew issues, vessel arrests, salvage, tug and tow, vessel financing and other commercial transactions.

The Firm is also involved in financing transactions based on tax-driven mortgage plans, including problems concerning ship registrations, securities records, etc.
